Two of the NFL’s elite quarterbacks really struggled right out of the gate in Week 1, with Cincinnati Bengals superstar Joe Burrow throwing for a career-low 82 yards in the loss to the Cleveland Browns and Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills throwing three interceptions in the loss against the New York Jets.

Both of these superstars need a bounce-back performance in Week 2 to get things back on track for themselves and their teams, or things could start to get ugly in the coming weeks with the narratives not working in their favor.

Kevin Wildes of FOX Sports believes it will be Burrow who will bounce back quickly from his forgettable Week 1 performance, as he showed a calm and collected demeanor in his press conference, while Allen was the complete opposite, via “First Things First.”

Although there’s a great chance that both Allen and Burrow have bounce-back performances in Week 2, Wildes does bring up an interesting point, as it seems as though the Bengals superstar is as confident as ever while Allen may be hearing the critics a bit more than he should after a down week.

In Week 2, the Bengals have arguably the tougher challenge, with Burrow and company set to play host to the division rival Baltimore Ravens while Allen’s Bills host the Las Vegas Raiders in Buffalo.

Even though the Bengals have the tougher team to face this weekend, Burrow is arguably the better quarterback and is handling his poor performance like a professional.

It’ll be interesting to see how things pan out for these two quarterbacks and whether they can turn their seasons around this weekend.
