However, fans in some key international markets will get to watch the spy action thriller a day early today, thanks to the good advance sales.
Tiger 3 Has THESE Huge Advantages Over Pathaan And Jawan
Salman Khan’s Tiger 3 will be chasing the recent all time blockbuster records made by Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan and Jawan. Tiger is a proven franchise for last 10 years as Ek Tha Tiger started YRF’s spy universe and thus should enjoy most loyalty. On top of that film is now next instalment of this Spy universe which is now huge post War and Pathaan. The biggest edge is that film is releasing on Diwali. Film is releasing over Diwali weekend contrary to mid week release of Pathaan and Jawan.
Overseas Opening Day And Weekend Projections Of Tiger 3 Vs Pathaan And Jawan
Of the over USD 1.2 million in presales, major contributions have come from North America where USA and Canada have cumulatively grossed over USD 550k for two days. The ticket pressure is higher for day 1 than day 2. UAE-GCC-KSA have cumulatively contributed over USD 300k with over 70 percent contributions from UAE alone. While advances for GCC and KSA on day 1 are at par with day 2, UAE’s advances for the opening day are far greater than day 2. The lower day 2 can be due to the fact that Sunday is a working day in the Middle East.
The advances are the third best for an Indian release this year after Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan and Pathaan. It is a wide theatrical release and its target would be to gross around USD 5.5 million in its two day opening frame, which would mean gross numbers of around Rs 45 crores when converted to INR.
As for comparison, at same time, Jawan had $850K sales for Thursday and $1 Million for the weekend, while Pathaan was $750 plus for first day. Tiger 3 is targeting to earn around $5M over its opening two days which is half of Jawan and Pathaan.

Jawan: $1.9 Million for day 1
Pathaan: $1.95 Million for day 1
Day 1 and Day 2 of Pathaan Vs Jawan Vs Tiger 3 Projection:
Jawan: $4.6 Million + $5.5 Million = $10.1 Million
Pathaan: $4.5 Million + $3.86 Million = $8.36 Million
Tiger 3: $2.50 Million + $2.75 Million = $ 5.25 Million
*Pathaan day 1 was Wednesday, Jawan day 1 was Thursday and Tiger 3 day 1 will be Saturday
Ultimately, Jawan and Pathaan earned almost 49 million USD in lifetime run which is way more than any other Hindi film earned ever. Tiger 3 is realistically targeting around 30-35 Million USD lifetime which will be a huge achievement. Shah Rukh Khan records will be beaten by Shah Rukh himself probably by Dunki. His dominance in overseas for last two decades is unparalleled in history.

Yash Raj Films (YRF), the production house behind the film, has decided to release Tiger 3 on Saturday, November 11, 2023 in the following countries and regions, with their respective local timings:
- USA: New York 11.30 am and LA 8.30 am onwards
- UAE: 7.30 pm onwards
- GCC: 6.30 pm onwards
- UK: 3.30 pm onwards
- Europe: 4.30 pm onwards
- Africa: 5.30 pm onwards
However, Australia and New Zealand will have to wait till November 12, 2023 to catch the film on the big screen.
About Tiger 3
Tiger 3 is directed by Maneesh Sharma and also stars Emraan Hashmi as the antagonist Aatish Rehman. The film is a sequel to Tiger Zinda Hai(2017) and is set after the events of War (2019) and Pathaan (2023). The film follows Tiger and Zoya as they are framed as traitors by Aatish and go on a life-threatening crusade to clear their names.
