AUSTIN (KXAN) – Austin Police are investigating an officer-involved shooting on 6th Street. It happened before midnight in the 200 Block of East 6th Street between Brazos and San Jacinto.
Police have not released details about the shooting. Images from the scene show a large presence of police, with officers using crime tape to block the street. Officers plan to hold a briefing later this morning to update the investigation.
