With the NFL season officially over for the Philadelphia Eagles, there have been a lot of questions about what will happen to the team over the course of the offseason, with the coaching staff on the hot seat and some players needing to make a decision about their immediate future.

Although all the attention in Philadelphia right now is on whether star center Jason Kelce will indeed retire and if head coach Nick Sirianni could be headed for the unemployment line, there are some others that face an uncertain future, namely running back D’Andre Swift.

Swift didn’t see the end zone as much as he or the team would’ve liked him to, as he rushed for five touchdowns and caught one touchdown pass, he had a solid season regardless.

The 25-year-old running back finished the season with 1,049 rushing yards on 229 carries while also catching 39 passes for 214 receiving yards in 16 games during the regular season.

Swift, along with a few other notable Eagles players like Kelce, Fletcher Cox, and Brandon Graham will be unrestricted free agents this year.

The young running back doesn’t know whether he’ll be back in Philadelphia but admits his time with the team was special, according to Eagles Nation.

“We’ll see.. If the opportunity presents itself, we’ll see when we get there. Time will tell,” Swift said.

Obviously, at this point in time, the Eagles brass will be busy trying to figure out what to do with the coaching staff moving forward, which will likely be the team’s first order of business.

After that gets sorted out, Swift and other key players will have their futures addressed, with no telling which way the Eagles will go.
