After a disappointing end to the regular season, which was followed up by a playoff collapse in the first round against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Philadelphia Eagles headed into the offseason with some major changes to the coaching staff expected.
The first order of business for the Eagles was deciding what the immediate future held for head coach Nick Sirianni, who has faced a lot of criticism for the way Philadelphia finished the year after starting the season 10-1.
Although the consensus in the media was that Sirianni should be let go, especially with all the talented head coaches looking for jobs in the NFL, the team’s brass decided to keep him on for at least one more season.
However, the same can’t be said for other members of the coaching staff in Philadelphia, with the team continuing to make changes on seemingly a daily basis.
The latest addition to Sirianni’s coaching staff is reportedly Clint Hurtt, formerly of the Seattle Seahawks, to be the Eagles’ new defensive line coach, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.

Pelissero pointed out that in addition to adding Hurtt to the coaching staff, Sirianni is expected to be bringing along Karl Scott from the Seahawks, who will coach the team’s defensive backs.
The biggest news to come out of Philadelphia over the past week or so was the team agreeing to terms with their new offensive and defensive coordinators.
Philadelphia is bringing in Kellen Moore to lead the offense while also bringing in defensive guru Vic Fangio to get it done on the other side of the football.
