Pay Rate: $18.00/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8-5

Job Length: Approximately 3 months

The University of Tennessee Knoxville, College of Nursing is accepting applications for an Administrative Assistant position. This position administratively supports the Associate Dean of Research (ADR) and the Director of Research for the College of Nursing Office of Research Services, working in partnership with the other team members.

Primary Job Duties:

  • Monitor and coordinate the Associate Dean of Research calendar, meetings, travel arrangements and other needs as requested.
  • Maintain confidentially of privileged and/or sensitive information; maintain a variety of records, files, and lists
  • Plan, coordinate, and organize flow of communication for the Office of Research Services, receive and route telephone calls, letters, and emails to the appropriate staff members.
  • Generate requested reports and newsletters.
  • Help organize and manage research training sessions.
  • Facilitate online surveys
  • Advise faculty on Elements questions.
  • Attend ORS related meetings, keep minutes, develop agendas, schedule meetings.
  • Organize and manage Office of Research Services events.
  • Assist the Office of the Dean as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Education:

Required: High School Diploma

Preferred: Associate’s Degree
