As the Director
of Human Resources, you will be the cornerstone of Stephens College’s commitment to exceptional employee support and service. Your role is

Responsibilities
Employee Recruitment:
- Lead with a customer-first mindset,
proactively managing resources to recruit and onboard top talent who will thrive in our college community. - Develop and implement a
responsive recruiting strategy that meets both current and future needs, ensuring a seamless experience for candidates and hiring
managers. - Act as a strategic adviser to Senior Staff and other leadership, focusing on talent acquisition, organizational culture,
and employee engagement.
Employee Benefits:
- Administer and continuously improve all College benefit
programs with a focus on employee satisfaction and well-being. - Recommend and implement enhancements to benefit plans that align with
the needs and preferences of our employees. - Cultivate strong relationships with vendors and external partners, ensuring that our
benefit offerings are both competitive and supportive of our community.

- Engage deeply with the College’s mission and culture, participating in strategic discussions that shape our HR
policies. - Build and nurture a culture of teamwork, accountability, and growth across all levels of the
organization. - Maintain and update the official College-wide policy and procedure manual, ensuring compliance with federal and state
laws. - Act as the College’s Equal Employment Opportunity Employment officer, championing fairness and inclusion in every aspect of

Employee Relations:
- Develop and lead comprehensive strategies for employee development,
retention, and onboarding, always prioritizing the needs and concerns of our staff. - Serve as a trusted coach and advisor to managers
and employees, guiding them through challenges with empathy and a focus on positive outcomes. - Provide leadership on special
projects, HR analytics, talent reviews, training, and diversity initiatives, always with an eye toward enhancing the employee
experience. - Build meaningful relationships with employees, becoming a go-to resource for advice on HR, cultural, and organizational
matters. - Mediate employee relations issues with a focus on fair and constructive resolutions, supporting performance management as
needed. - Actively participate in the College community, serving on the Staff Advisory Council and leading the employee recognition
committee.
Leadership and Supervision:
- Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to empathy,
responsiveness, and community in every interaction. - Provide visionary leadership to the HR team, fostering a supportive environment
where every team member can thrive. - Oversee employee payroll and related compliance, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all
operations. - Embrace a hands-on management style, regularly engaging with staff across campus to understand their needs and
concerns.
Other: This role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities, with a primary focus on enhancing the
employee experience and fostering a positive college culture. You will be expected to take on additional duties as needed, always with a
focus on supporting our community.

departments, supervisors, students, and co-workers, always with an emphasis on clarity, respect, and support.

Requirements
Education, Experience, and Skill Requirements:
- Bachelor’s
degree or higher with 5+ years of relevant HR experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role. HR certification is a plus
(Master’s degree preferred). - Extensive generalist experience, including coaching, performance management, employee involvement, and
benefits administration. - A proactive, self-starting leader who excels at driving focus and collaboration across
teams. - Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects, prioritize effectively, and deliver results.
- Strong
communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences. - Creative problem-solver with a
commitment to continuous learning and innovation. - Technologically adept, with a strong understanding of how to leverage technology
to enhance HR functions. - A key driver of teamwork, positivity, and a supportive culture within the College.
