The incident happened just before 5 p.m. in the 1200 block of Wilcrest Drive at Club Westside, an exclusive Houston family sports fitness club.

Some were taken to the hospital for medical evaluation via ambulance, officials said.

Houston Fire Chief Samuel Peña described the situation as “active and fluid” and says more information will be released once they have it.
