Fans of the Golden State Warriors are wondering what sort of role Chris Paul will play in the new season.
The iconic guard was recently traded to the Warriors, which was a huge move for both the player and the team.
But no one is quite clear how he will work alongside Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and the rest of the squad.
Joy Taylor is concerned about Paul’s role within the team.
Speaking on Fox Sports, Taylor said she isn’t sure how this is all going to work after Paul’s recent comments about accepting a bench role.
Taylor said that every team member needs his defined roles and if those aren’t figured out, this whole thing could be a huge mess.
“I thought this was understood,” she said about the confusion about who is doing what for the Warriors.

There is no doubt that Paul is going to bring a high basketball IQ and wonderful shooting abilities.
But will he be a starter alongside Curry, Thompson, and Draymond Green?
Or will he be the leader of the second unit who carries the team when Curry is on the bench?
When asked about not starting in the new season, Paul shot back at reporters by saying, “You coaching?”
This shows that perhaps the Warriors and Paul aren’t entirely certain about how the rotation will work in 2023-24.
They need to figure it out soon.
Taylor is right: the team needs agreed-upon roles and every player has to know what he is doing.
All the shooting skill in the world isn’t going to mean anything if Golden State’s identity isn’t clear.
