This season is the first year that the MLB schedule has been more balanced.

With this schedule, every team will match up against one another at least once, regardless of American League or National League.

This means that teams that typically did not play each other in the past will now be facing off.

The New York Yankees and St. Louis Cardinals have the most World Series titles out of all 30 MLB teams.

New York has 27, while St. Louis has 11.

However, the Cardinals and Yankees don’t face each other often, despite being the two best teams in the history of the game.

Next year, the more balanced schedule will allow for such a matchup and the Cardinals will finally be making their way to the Bronx.

Jeff Jones tweeted some important information about the Cards’ 2024 schedule.

The Yankees made their way to Busch Stadium last year, as the AL East and NL Central faced off against each other to make up for the lost matchups in 2020.

The more balanced schedule was introduced this year, which gave the Yankees another chance to face off against the Cardinals.

However, this time, the Cardinals will be making their way to New York for a series at Yankee Stadium.

The Cardinals last played at Yankee Stadium back in April of 2017.

The Yankees swept that series.

Next year’s series will take place from August 30-September 1 over Labor Day weekend.

The Cardinals took two out of three from the Yankees in St. Louis earlier this month.
