With the launch of the second season, all eyes are set on the hotly anticipated Heartstopper Season 3 release date. This coming-of-age romance drama continues the love story of Nick and Charlie along with the other students at Truham and Higgs. We see them navigate their school life and love life throughout season 2. But is there a release date for season 3 yet?

Is there a Heartstopper Season 3 release date?
The Heartstopper Season 3 release date could arrive by 2024.
The critically acclaimed series was renewed for two more seasons in May 2022, after the first season arrived on April 22, 2022. So, we can be certain that season 3 is on its way. But we shouldn’t expect it to release in 2023 as on July 19, 2023, series creator and writer Alice Oseman shared that she was “hard at work this summer writing the scripts for Season 3.”
Considering that season 3 hasn’t begun filming yet, we can presume that it will only arrive in the second half of 2024, at the earliest. The good thing for fans of the show is that it isn’t affected by the WGA and SAG-Aftra strikes as it’s produced by the British-Australian film and television production company, See-Saw Films. So, its production could begin even if the strike goes on as all its actors primarily work under Equity contracts.
The aforementioned 2024 release window is an estimation based on the information we have so far. ComingSoon will provide an update to this story once we receive official details.
In the second season, Nick tried to come out to Imogen as his relationship with Charlie matured. Meanwhile, Elle and Tao’s romantic drama also took focus. We expect season 3 to continue exploring these characters.
