The Jacksonville Jaguars used a second-round pick on Myles Jack in 2016.

He spent six seasons with the organization before heading on to the Pittsburgh Steelers where he signed a two-year contract.

However, Jack was cut by the Steelers after just one season.

Before he was picked up by the Philadelphia Eagles, reporter Zach Berman indicated that Jack was in for a career change.

Berman reported that before the Eagles signing, Jack was all set to be a plumber or an electrician.

With the Eagles taking a chance on him, Jack could now be a key contributor for one of the league’s top defenses.

If Jack can repeat his numbers from last season, it’ll be a welcomed addition to this roster.

Despite being one of the league’s top defenses, the Eagles can certainly get deeper.

While he’s not necessarily known for high sack totals, Jack did have 104 total tackles last season.

Will he begin the year as a starter for this dominant defense, knowing he was just cut by the Steelers?

The Eagles’ defense is riddled with elite players, as many are ranked as top-five at their position across the league.

With any luck, Jack’s career will be resurrected in Philadelphia, and he’ll never have to ponder another job change.

Their coaching staff continues to honor the players that work hard, which Jack has been known for throughout his career.
