The Challenge: USA season 2 is just getting started, and with a huge cast of competitors from some of viewers’ favorite reality TV competition series, the level of competition is high. The Challenge: USA takes the allure of its MTV counterpart, The Challenge, and brings it to a whole new level by adding cast members from CBS reality competition series like Big Brother, The Amazing Race, and Survivor. With challengers who are competitive and hoping for redemption from their performances on past seasons of their shows or The Challenge itself, the stakes are high from the very beginning for The Challenge: USA season 2 cast members.
While The Challenge: USA season 1 was an experiment in how the game would work, the current season has perfected the formula and is rolling out the big guns for competitors. With some of the most decorated veterans from The Challenge competing, the cast of The Challenge: USA season 2 is a huge list of major players. Though they’re all looking to find their way to the end of the game and win the $500,000, split between one male and one female competitor, The Challenge: USA season 2 cast members are hoping to make things difficult for their competition.
Chris Underwood
Chris Underwood was the winner of Survivor season 38. Survivor: The Edge Of Extinction offered a way back into the game for eliminated Survivors, and Chris fought hard to win the season against some major competitors. With The Challenge: USA season 2 the first time Chris has competed on a show from The Challenge franchise, he hopes to bring his Survivor moves to a whole new arena.
Alyssa Lopez
Alyssa Lopez competed on Big Brother 23, where she made it to the final seven before being eliminated by The Cookout alliance. A competitor, Alyssa’s game was hard-fought, and she came onto The Challenge: USA season 1 to prove herself as a game player. Though Alyssa’s competition may underestimate her, it’s possible she’s got what it takes to bring home the grand prize.
Cory Wharton
Cory Wharton was originally on Real World: Ex-Plosion and has competed on MTV’s The Challenge frequently in the last decade. Cory has been a finalist four times on the series, most recently on The Challenge season 36. While Cory is hoping his gameplay can finally help him take it to the end of the line, his confidence could be shaken with how many times he’s almost made it to the finish.
Alyssa Snider
Alyssa Snider was most recently on Big Brother 24, where she made it to the final five before being eliminated by fellow The Challenge: USA season 2 cast member Monte Taylor. Though Alyssa was a huge threat in the BB house, it’s possible that her issues with Monte may cloud her judgment in the game. With something to prove, Alyssa is definitely one to watch out for this season.
Dusty Harris
A competitor on The Amazing Race season 33, Dusty Harris is known for his incredible run on the series with his friend Ryan Ferguson who had recently been released from prison after being falsely accused of a crime he didn’t commit. Though The Challenge: USA comes with its own set of rules and competitions, Dusty is hoping that his experiences on The Amazing Race can push him past the competition. For Dusty, his longevity in the competition may be his leg up for The Challenge: USA season 2.
Amanda Garcia
Amanda Garcia’s first reality TV appearance was on Are You The One? season 3, but she’s competed on The Challenge several times since then. After six seasons of The Challenge where she hasn’t been crowned the winner, Amanda is hoping she can bring her skills to The Challenge: USA season 2. As a fierce competitor and an even more elaborate social gameplayer, Amanda is a threat to her fellow Challengers.
Faysal Shafaat
As one of the cast members of Big Brother 20, Faysal (sometimes known as Fessy) showed a completely different side than he typically does on The Challenge. Faysal has competed on MTV’s The Challenge four times, two of which have seen him as a finalist for the prize. A fitness buff and one-time American Ninja Warrior competitor, Faysal could finally have what it takes to make it through the competition on The Challenge: USA.
Ameerah Jones
Ameerah Jones is part of the Big Brother family, having competed on BB 24 alongside Monte and Alyssa. As a competitor, Ameerah didn’t show her strongest performance on Big Brother, getting eliminated during the third week. As a gameplayer, Ameerah had a lot to prove when it comes to The Challenge: USA season 2 and hoped to do so before her elimination.
Johnny “Bananas” Devenanzio
As one of the longest-running veterans on The Challenge, Johnny “Bananas” Devenanzio has been part of the franchise since the beginning. Originally appearing on The Real World in 2006, Johnny has been a fixture on over 20 seasons of the series, winning eight separate times. As Johnny continues to compete and push himself, he’s looking to take home another title on The Challenge: USA season 2.
Cassidy Clark
Cassidy was originally a part of the cast of Survivor season 43. As a runner-up on the season, Cassidy understands that her sometimes-safe gameplay was a huge part of her downfall during Survivor. She hopes to remedy this with her performance on The Challenge: USA season 2.
Josh Martinez
As one of the most controversial winners in Big Brother history, BB 19’s Josh Martinez has done a lot of work on himself throughout the years since his season. After competing on The Challenge five times, he’s doing his best to ensure his skills are sharp and his game is ready. Coming into The Challenge: USA season 2, Josh is hoping he can finally secure a win on the series.
Chanelle Howell
As a cast member of Survivor 42, Chanelle Howell is new to The Challenge franchise. Though Chanelle made it to the jury phase of the Survivor season, she wants to prove herself with her first try out on The Challenge. Chanelle is hoping that The Challenge: USA season 2 can offer her redemption, or at least make her into a threat as a gameplayer.
Luis Colon
Although he didn’t win his season of The Amazing Race, Luis Colon is a huge competitor. Coming in third place during his run, Luis and his partner were innovative on The Amazing Race season 34, and he’s hoping to bring that innovation to The Challenge: USA. Though it’s his first time competing on the series, he’s hopeful that he can take home the grand prize.
Desi Williams
Desi Williams was on Survivor season 35, also dubbed Survivor: Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers. Although Desi did find herself to be a formidable competitor on the series, she only made it to the first place in the jury before she was eliminated. Hoping to prove herself as a worthy competitor, Desi is looking to take home the final prize on The Challenge: USA season 2.
Monte Taylor
A huge threat in the Big Brother 24 house, Monte was the runner-up of the season who had the unfortunate hand of sitting next to BB winner Taylor Hale on finale night. Though Monte was a formidable player throughout the season, he simply couldn’t beat out Taylor and wound up taking home the second-place prize. He’s hoping that The Challenge: USA season 2 will see him as the final winner.
Jonna Mannion
Originally from The Real World: Cancun, Jonna has been a competitor on The Challenge for years. After her season of The Real World aired in 2009, Jonna went on to compete in five seasons of MTV’s The Challenge and three seasons of the Paramount+ streaming The Challenge: All Stars, having won the show twice and proven herself as a huge threat. Jonna was hoping The Challenge: USA season 2 could bring home another win for her.
Paulie Calafiore
As the brother of Big Brother 22 winner Cody Calafiore, Paulie Calafiore has competed on Big Brother himself. After BB 18, where Paulie placed 8th and made it to the jury, he made a name for himself on MTV’s The Challenge, competing three times and making it to the final twice. Paulie is hoping he can find redemption on The Challenge: USA season 2 and finally take home a win.
Michaela Bradshaw
After competing on Survivor season 33, also called Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X, and Survivor season 34, Survivor: Game Changers, Michaela Bradshaw still felt she had something to prove. She went on to compete on one season of The Challenge, called Spies, Lies, and Allies. Though Michaela didn’t fair well in her first time on The Challenge, she hopes The Challenge: USA season 2 will be a redemption for her game.
Sebastian Noel
Known for his time on Survivor: Ghost Island, Sebastian Noel was an early out for Survivor season 36. Though he hasn’t proven himself entirely as a competitor, Sebastian is hoping his gameplay has improved as he moves into The Challenge: USA. Looking for a win, Sebastian is hoping he can use what he’s learned to sweep the competition.
Michele Fitzgerald
As another Survivor alumn, Michele Fitzgerald is a fierce competitor. The winner of Surivor season 32, also called Survivor: Kaoh Rong, Michele was able to get ahead of the game and won the grand prize after grueling weeks of competition. After competing in two seasons of MTV’s The Challenge, Michele has decided to try her hand at The Challenge: USA.
Tyler Crispen
As a Big Brother legend, Tyler Crispen is one of the greatest BB players of the modern era. After narrowly missing the win on Big Brother 20, Tyler went on to compete in Big Brother 22, which was the second edition of Big Brother: All-Stars. Though his game was cut short during BB 22, Tyler was a formidable opponent and hopes that his first time on The Challenge will lead to a win.
Tiffany Mitchell
As one of the most recent Big Brother competitors, Tiffany Mitchell is known for her competitive nature on BB 23, where she was a part of The Cookout alliance. She competed on The Challenge: USA season 1, but Tiffany was an early out. After getting eliminated in the first weeks of competition, Tiffany is hoping to push herself further on The Challenge: USA season 2.
Wes Bergmann
As another veteran in The Challenge franchise, Wes Bergmann got his start on The Real World: Austin. After the series aired in 2005, Wes took The Challenge by storm having competed in 20 iterations of the series, winning three of the seasons he’s been a part of. Bringing his social baggage and spirit for competition, Wes is hoping The Challenge: USA proves to be another win for him.
Tori Deal
Originally getting her start on Are You The One? season 4, Tori Deal has competed on 10 iterations of The Challenge and has proven herself to be a huge competitor. After winning The Challenge season 38, also known as The Challenge: Ride Or Dies, the veteran is hoping to come to the competition with a fresh perspective, leading to a win on The Challenge: USA season 2.
The Challenge: USA airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. EST and Sundays at 9 p.m. EST on CBS.
