One of Pinocchio’s best stats to build into in Lies of P is called Motivity, which ties into your ability to wield heavier weapons and increase your damage to even one-shot enemies with the most OP gear and weapons. Like the Strength score seen in Dark Souls or Bloodborne, the right items and upgrades rely on Motivity to devastate even the toughest bosses. You will have to carefully level up with the Ergo you collect to achieve this build.
Keep in mind that since a high Motivity build will want to use heavier weapons, you will need to invest a lot of points into the Capacity stat as well. This score ties into your carrying capacity and the potency of your Legion Arms. The secondary attacks given by a specific Legion Arm and its upgrades will be important for the complete build, with Capacity also providing a small amount of extra defense that may certainly be useful until the very end.
How To Build a One-Shot OP Build in Lies of P
The first step to building an OP Motivity build is to find the Big Pipe Wrench Head weapon and the Krat Police Baton Handle to give yourself one of the most damaging weapons in the game. Speak with NPC Eugenie at Hotel Krat to switch the normal Pipe handle with the batons to provide yourself with this powerful tool. This can also be done at a Stargazer, one of the many fast travel points in Lies of P.
The Puppet String Legion Arm is recommended for this build as a secondary weapon to give you more mobility to charge your high-damage attacks from the Big Pipe Wrench, which can have slow attacks.
According to the YouTube channel Hazmy, a good score distribution for your Attributes would be 20 for Vitality, 15 for Vigor for decent health, 18 for Capacity, 36 for Motivity and Technique, and finally, only 6 for Advance. You don’t need to upgrade Advance since that stat only affects thrown items, which you won’t use much in this build. The equal points in Technique compared to Motivity help you wield the Pipe Wrench without any penalties.
Regarding other gear, you will need some strong Amulets like the Extreme Modification Amulet, which increases your weapon attack in proportion to the number of Fable Slots you have. The Pipe Wrench’s natural trait gives you extra Slots, making the damage provided by the Amulet incredibly high. Other items like the Murderer Puppet’s Amulet increases the damage inflicted on humans to make some bosses trivial in Lies of P.
Another two Amulets that are great for an OP one-shot build are the Strength Amulet and Technique Amulet, which both increase your Motivity and Technique Attributes by +4.
The P-Organ upgrades in Lies of P are important to this build as well since the Add Fable Slots enhancements can bolster the damage from the Modification Amulet even more. Choose the Fable Catalyst Boost for even more bonuses to the same effect. Finally, the Rising Dodge node on the P-Organ lets you have more Consumables and increases your weapon attack when your tool has maximum Durability.
With all these elements combined, this build can one-shot almost any enemy in the game when you use fully charged attacks at max Durability, making a truly OP Pinocchio in Lies of P.
