The Los Angeles Chargers have one of the most explosive offenses in the game.

Led by Justin Herbert, it seems like no throw is too big or crazy for them, especially with that plethora of playmakers in the receiving corps.

Nonetheless, besides some questionable decision-making from the coach, their defense has also been a big hurdle for them to finally get over the hump.

And, according to Ed Werder of ESPN, that could pave the way for the Dallas Cowboys’ passing game to finally get going.

As Werder pointed out, the Chargers’ passing defense is currently the worst in the league, allowing just under 300 passing yards per game.

That’s just what the Cowboys need, as Dak Prescott has yet to throw for 300+ yards this season, and he only has one 300+ yard game in his past 19 starts.

Long gone are the days in which the Cowboys trusted Prescott to lead the offense up and down the field.

He’s been more of a game manager now, with RB Tony Pollard getting as many touches as he can handle and the passing game taking a major backseat.

This has led star WR CeeDee Lamb to show his frustration, as they’ve been unable or unwilling to get him involved, even when the team has been in clear and desperate need to pick up the passing game.

Perhaps all they need to get their confidence back is to face a beatable team that can help them get their rhythm, and that could happen as soon as Monday night.
