The Boston Celtics struck gold when they got Jayson Tatum in the NBA Draft.

Tatum was the most NBA-ready prospect in his class, and he took the league by storm from day one.

And he’s kept getting better year after year, but he’s still far from reaching his prime.

That’s why NBA analyst Jason Timpf explained how he could become the best player on Earth.

Per Timpf, all he needs to do is regain his defensive prowess from the 2022 playoffs and be more efficient as a player overall.

Truth be told, the only issue with Tatum’s game right now is his tendency to disappear when the game is on the line, as well as how often he turns the ball over when he forces things on offense.

But as much pressure as people put on his shoulders, the fans seem to forget that he’s still quite young.

Tatum was given the burden and responsibility of being the undisputed go-to guy of arguably the most storied franchise in the league.

Not many players have been able to accomplish as much as he’s accomplished in so little time, and the fact that he still has at least ten years more in him should only encourage the fans.

The Celtics have knocked on the door of another NBA championship for quite a while now, and most of that has had to do with Tatum’s stellar play.

So, worry not, and just be patient, as he has everything in his favor to become the best player in the league.
