The Detroit Lions haven’t exactly been a successful NFL franchise.
They’ve had some legendary players, such as Barry Sanders, Bobby Lane, Calvin Johnson, Matthew Stafford, and many more, but that hasn’t translated into championships.
Building a winning culture from scratch after so many years of struggles is one of the most complicated things to do for a head coach or a general manager.
That’s why Dan Campbell’s team has been so impressive and it seems like they’re the most improved team in the league.
In the latest edition of the NFL on FOX podcast, NFL analyst Dave Helman praised Campbell for fulfilling his vision with this Lions team.
“This Dan Campbell Lions team absolutely looks like the group he envisioned when he took the job.” 💯

He believes this is exactly what he envisioned when he took over the job, and we all know it hasn’t always been easy or pretty.
From crying during a press conference after a loss to praising his players for leaving it all on the field, Campbell’s tenure has seen it all, and it has paid off.
Helman also praised them for putting their feet back on the gas after the Packers rallied late in the game, once again proving that they’re not the Lions of old.
This Lions team is as gritty as it is competitive, and they’re looking to make a statement and leave it all on the field on every single play.
Even if they’re not Super Bowl contenders, it’s always nice to see a hard-fighting team that rallies together through thick and thin.
