After a bad start to the season, the Cincinnati Bengals are back.
They lost three of their first four games of the season, but they now have a four-game winning streak after defeating the Buffalo Bills, 24-18, on Sunday night.
Quarterback Joe Burrow appears to be back to his usual self after struggling with a strained calf weeks earlier, and wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase came into the game having played very well.
But he suffered a back injury during the game, and it may have been a big reason why he caught just four passes for 41 yards.
Per Paul Dehner Jr., Chase sounded concerned about the ailment.
#Bengals Ja’Marr Chase making it sound like his back injury will be something worth monitoring. Concerned tone, to be certain, from him.
“I’m just going to support my teammates, man. Let those guys do what they got to do. Only thing I can do is get healthy for the team.”

Another injury is the last thing the Bengals need right now, especially as they appear to have regained their mojo.
They’re engaged in a fierce battle in a suddenly competitive AFC North, as their 5-3 record puts them in last place.
They’re in a three-way tie, record-wise, in the division with the Pittsburgh Steelers and the surprising Cleveland Browns, and this coming Sunday, they will face the 4-4 Houston Texans, which will give them a great shot at moving up in the standings.
After that, however, they will face the Ravens and Steelers in Week 11 and Week 12, respectively, and those games could determine if the Bengals will have any chance of finishing first in the AFC North.
Therefore, any type of extended absence for Chase could be very costly as far as their hopes of winning their first Super Bowl, as it could cost them home-field advantage or even a playoff spot.
