The warning specifies that the contaminated packages weigh approximately 1.5 pounds and bear an establishment number “Est. 85M” on the back label. Additionally, the packages have a 24-hour-clock timestamp between 08:43 and 09:23 (8:43-9:23 a.m. on the 12-hour clock).

The alert was prompted after Aldi reported the presence of soft, clear plastic in one of the packages of raw beef at one of its retail locations.
