Following his siblings, Lyney and Lynette, Freminet’s gameplay kit in Genshin Impact 4.0 has leaked in its entirety, including his Vision, Skills, Burst, passive talents, and Constellations levels. The new character hails from the Fontaine region and will be one of the first from the Nation of Justice to be added to the game, along with his siblings. The 4-star character had leaked months ago but has since been confirmed as a playable character by developer HoYoverse. In addition to that, the company also confirmed that Freminet is a 4-star Cryo claymore user, though his exact role in a team comp has yet to be seen.
Nevertheless, a new set of Genshin Impact 4.0 leaks about Freminet’s gameplay kit allow players to speculate how he will operate. Leaks about Version 4.0 have been occurring intensely over the past months and, even after HoYoverse announced a series of new heroes with a teaser trailer, more leaks continue to happen. Most recently, Lynette’s gameplay kit in Genshin Impact leaked entirely, as well as that of her brother, Lyney. Now, with the alleged gameplay kit leak for Freminet, the entire family is complete.
Freminet’s Normal, Charged, & Plunging Attacks In Genshin Impact
As was shared by AFK Gaming, the Genshin Impact 4.0 leaks about Freminet’s gameplay indicate that there should be no changes to the character’s Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attacks in comparison to other regular claymore users. His Normal Attack will see him perform a series of up to four strikes, while his Charged Attack sees Freminet consume stamina to spin around with his claymore and end the attack with a slash. His plunging attack makes him hit the ground and deal AoE DMG to nearby opponents. This is the standard skill set for other 4-star claymore users, so it makes sense that this is also true for Freminet.
Freminet’s Elemental Skill In Genshin Impact
Freminet’s leaked gameplay kit in Genshin Impact 4.0 also details how his Elemental Skill will work. The ability is called Pressurized Floe and, by activating it, Freminet will execute an upward slash that deals Cryo DMG. When he does this, Freminet enters a state called Pers Time, for ten seconds. For the duration of the Pers Time state, his Elemental Skill will be transformed into Shattering Pressure. This alternate form of the Elemental Skill will change how his Normal Attacks work. At level 0, he will execute a slash that deals Cryo DMG.
Between levels 1 and 3, he will use cuts that deal both Cryo DMG and Physical DMG – the DMG count scales on the Pressure level. At level 4, Freminet’s Elemental Skill will consume the acquired Pressure levels and unleash a forward blast that deals Physical DMG. As pointed out by the Genshin Impact 4.0 leaks about Freminet’s gameplay kit, during the Pers Time state, Freminet will have his penguin prop float near him, indicating what level Shattering Pressure is through a gauge. The level of Shattering Pressure rises with every attack he executes in the Pers Time state.
Freminet’s Elemental Skill also has a passive effect called Fundamental Force: Pneuma. With it, at certain intervals after using the Skill’s initial Cryo upward thrust, a Spiritbreath Thorn – also in the form of an upward thrust – will occur, dealing Pneuma-aligned Cryo DMG. The exact nature of Pneuma damage and its counterpart Ousia are still unknown, but they are linked to Fontaine’s rivaling factions. A Genshin Impact 4.0 leak shared by Vivliz on Reddit suggests that these alternating between Pneuma and Ousia when battling can result in the opponent’s paralysis.
Freminet’s Elemental Burst In Genshin Impact
According to Freminet’s leaked gameplay kit in Genshin Impact 4.0, his Elemental Burst is called Shadowhunter’s Ambush. By using the ability, Freminet unleashes an instance of an AoE Cryo DMG, dealing damage to nearby opponents. The Elemental Burst also resets the cooldown of the Pressurized Floe Elemental Skill, which causes Freminet to initiate the Stalking state, for ten seconds. In the Stalking state – notable by his usage of a helmet – Freminet’s interruption resistance will be increased.
The Stalking state makes the Elemental Skill Pressurized Floe have its cooldown decreased by 70%. In addition to that, Normal Attacks used by Freminet while Stalking will grant him 1 stack of Pressure for the Pers Time state, and the ice released by his Normal Attacks will deal 200% of their original DMG. From the description of his core abilities, Freminet’s leaked gameplay in Genshin Impact suggests that his rotation will cycle around his Skill and Burst, which optimize his Normal Attacks. It also seems he will have a constant presence on the battlefield, which may mean he will be a main DPS.
Freminet’s Passive Talents In Genshin Impact
Another part of the Genshin Impact 4.0 leaks about Freminet’s gameplay kit is the list of his passive talents. His first passive talent is called Saturation Deep Dive. While Pers Time has not gathered all four levels of Pressure, the cooldown of Freminet’s Elemental Skill is lowered by one second. The second passive talent is called Parallel Condensers and, when Freminet triggers a Shatter reaction, the damage caused by his Shattering Pressure ability is increased by 40% for five seconds.
The last passive talent shared in Freminet’s leaked gameplay kit in Genshin Impact 4.0 is called Deepwater Navigation. The exact details about how this ability will work remain to be seen. The name suggests that it may have something to do with underwater exploration, though that is still unconfirmed by leaks. Nevertheless, the speculation alone is not so far off, as his sister, Lyney, has a passive talent that displays Revival Orbs on the mini-map.
Freminet’s Constellations In Genshin Impact
The final part of the Genshin Impact 4.0 leaks about Freminet’s gameplay kit is his Constellation path. His C1, called Dreams of the Seething Deep, increases the CRIT Rate of Pressurized Floe: Shattering Pressure by 15%. Freminet’s C2, Penguins and the Land of Plenty, restores 2 Energy to Freminet when he unleashes Shaterring Pressure. In addition to that, if the level 4 Pressure attack is released, he will restore 3 Energy. C3, Song of the Eddies and Bleached Sands, will increase his Normal Attack level by 3, raising the upgrade cap to 15.
Freminet’s C4 is Dance of the Snowy Moon and Flute and, when he triggers Frozen, Shatter, or Superconduct reactions against enemies, his ATK stat will be increased by 9% for six seconds, up to two stacks. This buff can be triggered every 0.3 seconds, according to Freminet’s leaked gameplay kit in Genshin Impact 4.0. C5, Nights of Hearth and Happiness, increases the level of Pressurized Flow by 3, raising its cap to 15. C6, called Moment of Waking and Resolve, increases Freminet’s CRIT DMG by 12% for six seconds when he triggers Frozen, Shatter, or Superconduct. This effect can be stacked up to three times and activated every 0.3 seconds.
As is the case with most Genshin Impact leaks, the information shared about Freminet’s gameplay kit should be taken with a grain of salt. The details about his abilities may be inaccurate or simply subject to change before Version 4.0 is actually released. Players will know for sure how Freminet works on the field once Genshin Impact 4.0 is released – the version is expected to arrive at some point in late August 2023.
