Both the Texas Rangers and Arizona Diamondbacks are going left for Game 4 of the World Series.
After the Rangers’ 3-1 win in Game 3, both teams announced their starting pitchers for Wednesday. Texas is turning to Andrew Heaney, while Arizona is giving the ball to Joe Mantiply, according to ESPN’s Jeff Passan.
Heaney, a 32-year-old southpaw, has thrown in four games for the Rangers this post-season and made two starts. He’s pitched 6.0 total innings with a 6.00 ERA while striking out one batter.
The 10-year MLB veteran appeared in Game 2 of the World Series, getting two outs and allowing one hit in the Diamondbacks 9-1 win.
In the regular season, he threw 147.1 innings with a 4.15 ERA while making 28 starts and 34 appearances.
Mantiply, a lefty reliever, will lead a bullpen game for Arizona. He has pitched 6.1 innings over eight appearances for the Diamondbacks in these playoffs. He made one start, working as an opener in Game 4 of the NLCS against the Philadelphia Phillies.
He has a 4.26 ERA this post-season after posting a 4.62 mark in the regular season.
With the Rangers now holding a 2-1 lead in the series, Game 4 can be seen on Sportsnet and Sportsnet+ at 8:00 p.m. ET / 5:00 p.m. PT.
