For over 50 years, TFC has worked to improve the affordability of education by helping schools to provide flexible and customizable
institutional loans and extended payment plans. We are proud of our distinction as a student-focused solution with great outcomes for
students and schools alike. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with strong interpersonal and follow-up skills to work directly
with executive management to implement new sales strategies and extend our reach.

Hybrid position: likely 1-2 days/week at an office
in NYC or Long Island.

Responsibilities:

  • Expand brand awareness of TFC within the higher education sector through networking and collaboration through both established and new
    pipelines
  • Some travel: attend conferences and special events, and visit potential clients
  • Research, review, and prepare
    for potential conferences to showcase company’s services
  • Lead knowledge-sharing sessions and educational presentations at
    conferences and online
  • Develop partnership opportunities by researching and identifying schools that could benefit from our
    services and connecting with relevant decision makers
  • Stay informed on finance and business trends in higher education
  • Develop new sales strategies in the higher education sector
  • Proactively build and maintain strong relationships with new and
    existing clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention
  • Collaborate with TFC team members to develop strategic goals and
    align marketing efforts
  • Perform cost-benefit analysis of potential clients
  • Identify new business opportunities and
    potential clients through market research and analysis
  • Respond to client inquiries and provide after-sales support
  • Work
    with senior management to discover new potential markets and avenues to utilize TFC’s services and resources

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Outstanding interpersonal, written communication, and strong oral
    communication skills
  • CRM system experience plus demonstrated Microsoft Office Suite skills
  • Well-organized with an aptitude
    in problem-solving
  • Self-motivation, energy, persistence, and follow-through
  • Demonstrated success working independently as
    well as in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent customer relationship management skills with a focus on
    building long-term partnerships
  • Minimum 1-3 years relevant experience preferred
  • Proven experience in sales will be
    considered a plus
  • Prior experience in a bursar, finance, admissions, financial aid, sales, development, procurement, or other role
    in a higher education environment a plus, as well as an understanding of the organizational structure of institutions of higher
    education
