Hijack Cast & Character Guide

Apple’s thriller series Hijack contains an ensemble cast led by star actor Idris Elba. The show features dozens of supporting roles, depicting a fictional 7-hour flight from Dubai to London that is hijacked by a mysterious terrorist group while over 30,000 feet in the air. Elba is at the forefront of an exceptional cast of characters that include fellow plane passengers, flight attendants, on-the-ground air traffic control workers across various countries, and the hijackers themselves.

Elba, along with the help of the plane’s captain, attempts to handle the terrorist situation diplomatically in the new Apple series. He is a successful business negotiator who is quick on his feet and tries to use his cunning tactics to contain the threat of the plane’s hijackers. The intense thriller is told in real time over the course of seven episodes and will answer the question of whether Sam Nelson’s (Elba) atypical strategy will actually save the innocent people on Kingdom Flight 29.
