The Office Coordinator provides assistance to staff, faculty, student employees, and potential employees by answering general Human Resources related concerns, including recruiting and benefits questions. Will also assist with planning and implementation of University events. 

  • Provide general human resources support 
  • Coordinate and assist in I-9 verification process, including E-Verify
  • Provide recruitment support and assist with hiring of student employees, including answering questions and processing background checks
  • Provide trouble shooting support with Applicant Tracking online system
  • Provide benefits support
  • Greet visitors, answer questions, and/or direct to appropriate individual
  • Assist in training, special event planning and organizational training sessions

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 8am-5pm and 7:30am-4pm summer and break hours, 40 hours a week

Advertised Salary:  Excellent pay and benefits – commensurate with experience

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Associate Degree or 3 years of experience in lieu of degree
  • Experience in providing excellent customer service
  • Experience working with Microsoft applications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in an office setting
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Experience working in PeopleSoft or similar large enterprise HCM system
  • Human resources experience in a Public Sector or higher education environment
  • SHRM-CP or PHR
