Job Summary
The Talent Acquisition Manager oversees a team of staff and student assistants and the day-to-day operations of Talent Acquisition to provide responsive support for employment activities for students, faculty, staff and other entities across campus. This position ensures Talent Acquisition members provide timely responses; comply with University service standards and assist in creating efficiencies and consistent communication for the team.
Responsibilities
- Manage functions and activities of Talent Acquisition consistent with University’s mission and strategic plan
- Supervise Talent Acquisition Team
- Build and maintain relationships with campus and community constituents
- Support HR staff and University community to effectively resolve problems, interpret/communicate HR policies and procedures and recommend courses of action
- Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations and University and USG policies and procedures
- Assess faculty, staff and student employee needs to ensure adequate services are available from Talent Acquisition
- Administer the Criminal Background Investigation practices for staff, faculty, temporary and student employees as directed by Office of Legal Affairs
- Oversee employee drug and alcohol screenings for the University
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree OR Seven (7) or more years of related work experience
Required Experience
- Three (3) or more years of related work experience
Preferred Qualifications
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification
Preferred Experience
- Progressive experience in employment or recruitment
- Prior experience supervising full-time or part-time staff members
Proposed Salary
$50,173 – $62,400
This is an exempt position paid on a monthly basis.
