The Milwaukee Bucks went all-in by acquiring Damian Lillard via a blockbuster trade earlier this year.

It essentially formed a Big 3 of Damian Lillard, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Khris Middleton.

But to form the star-studded lineup, the Bucks had to give up Jrue Holiday, who was a defensive specialist.

In fact, Holiday’s elite defense was one of the reasons why the Bucks won the 2021 NBA Championship.

In order to fill that defensive hole left by Holiday’s departure, the Bucks are reportedly interested in trading for Alex Caruso, as revealed via NBACentral on Twitter.

“Alex Caruso over there in Chicago would be a great addition to the Bucks, and I know a lot of people feel that way,” Chris Haynes said.

Renowned NBA analyst Chris Haynes claimed that the Bucks are aware of having poor defense this season and want to improve it sooner rather than later.

After all, the Bucks may be the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 6-4 record, but many believe, defensively, the Bucks are no match for other top teams.

Caruso is currently averaging 7.8 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game for the Bulls right now.

Moreover, Caruso is shooting an impressive 59.1% from the field and 44.0% from the three-point line.

On top of that, most of the league is obviously aware of Caruso’s impact on the defensive end of the floor.

Caruso is never shy about taking on the toughest assignment on any given night.

He recently proved his worth by stopping Kevin Durant from nailing a game-winner in a regular-season game.
