After years and years of disappointment, the New York Knicks may have begun to turn the corner, with the team seeing a star emerge in the form of guard Jalen Brunson last season, along with forward Julius Randle returning to form as an All-Star.
Unlike in years past, the Knicks brass seem to be making all the right moves when it comes to adding players to the roster, with the team seemingly having a soft spot for players who played for Villanova during their college days.
Brunson is a former Wildcat and had a lot of success with the program, winning two national titles with Villanova, while fellow Knicks guard Josh Hart also won a title for the school with Brunson in 2016.
Along with those two former Wildcats, the Knicks signed guard Donte DiVincenzo over the summer to help bolster the backcourt, who also won two titles playing alongside Brunson at Villanova.
Now, the team has added a fourth Villanova alum in Ryan Arcidiacono, according to Ian Begley of SNY.

With four players who have won a national title at Villanova, the Knicks continue to build chemistry with players who have experience in a winning culture on the college level.
Hopefully, for the sake of the Knicks, that winning culture can carry over to the professional level and help New York win its first NBA title since 1972.
Although the competition in the Eastern Conference is stiff, with the Boston Celtics, Milwaukee Bucks, Miami Heat, and Philadelphia 76ers posing significant threats, New York can’t be counted out as this team continues to get better.
