Nayanthara To Join Ranveer Singh And Alia Bhatt In Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Baiju Bawra?

Nayanthara, who made her Bollywood debut with Shah Rukh Khan‘s Jawan, is reportedly in talks to be a part of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ambitious project Baiju Bawra. The film, which is said to be a musical drama based on the life of the legendary singer Baiju Bawra, will feature Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles.

According to sources, Nayanthara has been approached by Bhansali for a pivotal role in the film, which is not a replacement for Alia Bhatt. The sources also revealed that Nayanthara and her husband Vignesh Shivan were spotted outside Bhansali’s office in March this year. However, nothing has been confirmed yet and both parties are working out the terms.

If Nayanthara joins the cast of Baiju Bawra, it will be a huge boost for the film, which has been in the news for a long time. Nayanthara is one of the most popular and successful actresses in South Indian cinema, with several hits to her credit. She has also won several awards and accolades for her performances.

Baiju Bawra is expected to go on floors next year and will be Bhansali’s next directorial venture after Gangubai Kathiawadi, which starred Alia Bhatt in the titular role. This film was based on a chapter from Hussain Zaidi’s book Mafia Queens of Mumbai and earned Bhatt a National Award for her performance in the film.
