The NFL has the most popular professional sport in this country, which brings in a lot of money annually in a lot of different ways, especially when it comes to deals with platforms to air its games on a weekly basis during the season.

Every year, it seems networks are battling it out to get the rights to air NFL games, and things have really changed over the last few years due to streaming platforms getting involved in the process.

It was recently announced that YouTube TV would become the new home of NFL Sunday Ticket, which is one of the biggest sports packages you can get when it comes to the NFL.

Along with YouTube TV taking over for DIRECTV when it comes to NFL Sunday Ticket, Peacock has gotten involved with the league by becoming the first platform to exclusively live stream an NFL playoff game, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

It seems the way that we consume NFL games is rapidly evolving and changing with every passing season to get more eyes on these weekly gridiron battles, which ultimately is good for all football fans as long as it doesn’t cost a fortune.

It’ll be interesting to see how things pan out with all these new streaming services and the jockeying to get as many NFL games and now playoff games as possible on their networks.

Amazon, YouTube TV, and Peacock are just the first through the door of what will be an interesting few years and how we watch the NFL.
