In a span of about 18 months, Odell Beckham Jr. suffered two torn ACLs, but he hasn’t allowed that to end his NFL career.

He didn’t play at all last season while rehabbing from his latest ACL injury, but he is back as a member of the Baltimore Ravens, who gave him a pretty lucrative one-year contract.

With training camp opening up this week, Beckham is back on the field doing what he loves, and he shared his gratitude with the media.

Just about every football fan remembers what a force Beckham was just several years ago.

He made the Pro Bowl in each of his first three years while going over the 1,300 receiving yards mark in each of those seasons, and he was one of the most explosive wide receivers in the game in terms of his downhill speed.

But the injuries he has suffered have seemingly robbed him of lots of his next-level ability.

He will now have a shot at resurrecting his career, and his new situation could be beneficial for both parties.

The Ravens lacked any productive wideouts last season, and in fact, no one who played the position for them had as many as 500 receiving yards.

Quarterback Lamar Jackson, who just got a humongous contract to remain with the team, has seen his passing numbers go down the last couple of years, and if Beckham is spry, he could help Jackson regain some of his old form.

Beckham is only 30 years of age, so there is reasonable optimism that he will at least show flashes of his old self this fall.
