Across the NFL, many players are superstitious.

They like to have the same meal before each game or wear the same pair of socks.

But, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has a superstition unlike any other.

The two-time MVP went onto the “Manningcast” to discuss wearing the same pair of underwear for every game.

Mahomes said, “I only wear them for gameday, so they are not too worn down.”

It is hard to question anything that Mahomes does.

He has been the best player in the NFL ever since he took over as the starter in his second season.

Mahomes won his first MVP in his first year as a starter.

So it makes sense for him to replicate everything he did that season.

That red pair of underwear has been a part of plenty of success.

Mahomes and the Chiefs are once again having a great season.

They are 7-2 coming out of their bye week and are getting set to face the Philadelphia Eagles.

It is a rematch of last year’s Super Bowl and a game that has been circled on both teams’ calendars.

Both teams are at the top of their respective conferences this year, so this game will be a great litmus test.

This game has all the makings of one of the best regular-season games of the year.

Also, both teams need this game as they have their sights set on the number one seed.

One thing we can be sure of next Monday night is that Mahomes will have on his red underwear.
