Did you know that the George Bush Presidential Library Museum Store is a retail store? We’re seeking a person to handle our inventory, with the ability to move inventory (sometimes heavy). You’ll move & stock the store sales floor & back room, work with vendors, and respond to customers/visitors’ questions and requests. If you’re that person and you truly enjoy providing great customer service you may be our next Receiving Specialist/Customer Service Associate.

This is an Hourly, Full-Time position with Benefits, responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations, including the receiving of incoming merchandise, quality control, restocking both the stock room and sales floor, working with vendors, organizing the stock room, packaging online order shipments, using a computer, processing payments for purchases made in the store and online, preparing deposit slips and assisting with daily sales reporting, participating in the Store’s annual inventory count, and assisting customers in the Store, over the phone, and online. This position’s work schedule will be Tuesday – Saturday and is essential during holiday hours.

Required Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Two years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree
  • Previous retail experience
  • Previous experience back-office procedures in retail
