Fences Rider of the Month

Catalina Peralta  Georgia
Jr. Geneva, Fla.
  • Peralta is undefeated this season in Fences, winning five-straight meets against ranks opponents.
  • She picked up two MOP honors this month, both on the road and against top-five teams.
  • Her first MOP this month came against No. 4 Texas A&M and the other on neutral ground against the top-ranked TCU.
  • All five of her rides scored a 83.5 or above with with marks of 89.

Flat Rider of the Month 

Sophie Mitchell  South Carolina
Jr. Wrightsville Beach, N.C.
  • Mitchell started off the month of October with a bang, securing a point for the Gamecocks on the Flat against SDSU (80-77), earning her first career MOP for her ride on Mia.
  • She then rounded out the month in the same fashion, taking down her opponent from No. 2 Auburn on the road 89-85 on Rex and picking up her second MOP of the season.

Horsemanship Rider of the Month

Brooke Jolstad   Auburn 
Fr. Lakewood, Colo.
  • Freshman Jolstad had an outstanding month for the Tigers, averaging a 74.8 over three meets.
  • She helped the Tigers pick up big team wins over Top 10 opponents, going 3-0-0 over October with one MOP.
  • Jolstad led off with a big win in Horsemanship, topping her opponent at No. 10 UT Martin with a 74-69.5 victory. That win was a crucial one in the team’s 11-9 edge over the Skyhawks.
  • She followed with the first MOP of her career, scoring a 75 to edge her No. 6 Georgia opponent at home.
  • Jolstad closed out the month with a career-high 75.5 against No. 7 South Carolina at home, helping the Tigers sweep the Gamecocks in the event.

Reining Rider of the Month

Isabella Tesmer  Auburn
Sr. Mount Orab, Ohio
  • Senior Tesmer improved to 5-0-0 on the season with a 4-0-0 record in the month of October, leading the Tigers in Reining.
  • She helped Auburn improve to 5-0-0 as a team, guiding the squad to four-straight wins over Top 10 opponents in October.
  • Tesmer kicked off the month with a 69.5-68 win at No. 7 Baylor, helping the Tigers sweep the Bears in Reining on the road.
  • She followed with an MOP performance, scoring a 70 in her victory at No. 10 UT Martin. Her win was a key moment for the Tigers as it was the second-to-last ride in the meet and gave Auburn its 10th point of the contest.
  • Tesmer put together a pair of big scores at home against Southeastern Conference opponents to close out the month. She opened with a 71.5 in her win against No. 6 Georgia.
  • She capped October with a 71-70.5 edge over No. 7 South Carolina, helping the Tigers go 4-0-1 in the event against the Gamecocks.
