Offensive Player of the Week

Úlfa Úlfarsdóttir	Kentucky

Úlfarsdóttir scored in both of Kentucky’s matches as the Wildcats remained unbeaten on the year. Kentucky is now up to 10 points in SEC play, its most since the 2015 season. Úlfarsdóttir converted a penalty kick vs. Vanderbilt, making her 3-of-3 from the penalty spot for her collegiate career. That goal was also the senior’s third game-winning goal this season, a new career high.

Defensive Player of the Week

Marz Josephson	Kentucky

Josephson was huge for the Wildcats in a 1-1 draw on the road in Knoxville, tallying six saves including one on a Volunteer’s penalty kick late in the second half. The graduate student followed up this performance with her seventh shutout of the season against Vanderbilt, making two saves in the winning effort, her eighth win this season. Josephson’s seven shutouts this year lead the SEC, while her 0.46 GAA is also tops in the conference.

Freshman of the Week

Reagan Schubach	South Carolina

Schubach has continued her excellence as a freshman this season, nabbing her first career SEC game-winner against LSU (her third GW of the season). The Gamecocks and Tigers were locked up 0-0 continuing into the second half, until Schubach was able to get her shot past two Tiger defenders and their keeper and sink into the upper left of the net in the 55th minute to put her team on top. The goal was her sixth of the season, which ties for the most as a freshman in the SEC, and places her at No. 2 on the team for total goals and points (13).
