Following Wednesday’s meetings, SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey discussed a variety of topics with the media:

**For the second year in a row, an educational session was conducted aimed at increasing diversity in leadership positions across SEC member institutions. Representatives from all 14 member universities participated in the session on Wednesday, including athletics directors, senior woman administrators, faculty athletics representatives, communications directors, other senior staff members and head coaches in the three sports represented in SanDestin. SEC staff members also participated.

**The SEC is serving host this week to the final session of its inaugural Opportunity Forum, a year-long program designed to connect mid to senior level administrators in the SEC from historically underrepresented groups with industry leaders and assist them with professional development opportunities. The inaugural class consists of 15 university and conference administrators who are participating in a four-part series of engagements.

**In a meeting of the Athletics Directors, discussion continued on proposed SEC legislation. The group also discussed future football scheduling.
