Seven Named to USA Volleyball Women’s Collegiate Team

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (June 16, 2023) – Seven student-athletes from programs within the Southeastern Conference were named to the 20-player roster for the 2023 Women’s Collegiate National Team.

The Collegiate Team will train June 18-24 in Anaheim, Calif., alongside the U.S. Women’s National Team as it prepares for the final preliminary round of Volleyball Nations League.

Caroline Meuth of Texas A&M is an outside hitter, while Sophie Fischer of Georgia and Anita Anwusi of LSU are middle blockers. Opposites are Anna Dixon of Florida and Jordan Iliff of Missouri. Setters include Alexis Stucky of Florida and Emma Grome of Kentucky.

In addition, two SEC student-athletes were selected as alternates for the Women’s Collegiate National Team: Kennedy Martin of Florida and Morgahn Fingall of Tennessee.
