The 2023 NFL season has just been one tough obstacle after another for the New York Giants who have dealt with several injuries to key players.
The Giants lost Daniel Jones for the rest of the year when he tore his ACL in their Week 9 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders, forcing backup Tommy DeVito into action.
Losing Jones is a huge blow for New York, but they’re also without Tyrod Taylor who’s on injured reserve after he got hurt in Week 8.
DeVito’s first season in the NFL has been a rollercoaster as he’s had to sub in both times for a hurt Jones and Taylor, but Week 10 represents his first career start at quarterback.
DeVito has his work cut out for him as the Giants take on the Dallas Cowboys who must be excited at the prospect of getting after the backup.
However, DeVito does have one thing going for him and that’s the comfort of living at home still via Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Like a lot of millennials, DeVito seems to be enjoying the perks that come with living with one’s parents like free meals, laundry, and other services.
It’s funny for fans to think about a professional quarterback like DeVito still sharing a space with their parents, but it’s hard to blame him for being frugal.
Unfortunately for him, he won’t have his parents’ house to fall back to on Sunday as he and the Giants are on the road for their marquee matchup against the Cowboys.
