On Wednesday, Rivals.com introduced the nation’s best sophomores with their initial Rivals100 Rankings for the 2026 recruiting class.
Among the elite include three prospects from the state of Tennessee, which are featured below.
41. Jared Curtis, QB, Nashville Christian School
– Curtis popped on the recruiting scene after putting up big numbers as a freshman in helping lead his Nashville Christian team to an appearance in the DII-A state finals. He proved why he’s one of the top signal-callers in the 2026 class with his impressive performance at the Rivals Camp Series in Cincinnati back in April where he displayed a strong arm and accuracy on all three levels of the route tree – short, intermediate, and deep.
With nearly 25 offers on his resume, Curtis recently released a Top 10 that features the likes of Ohio State, Michigan, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, Georgia, Alabama, Florida State, Notre Dame, and South Carolina.
51. Carson Sneed, TE, Donelson Academy
– At 6-foot-5, 223-pounds, Sneed already has college-ready frame and a skillset to match. Back in April at the Rivals Camp Series in Cincinnati, Sneed showed off his high-point ability and was a mismatch nightmare utilizing his long arms and frame as well.
Sneed’s resume is nearing 20 offers with notable programs like Tennessee, Alabama, Michigan, and Kentucky involved so far.
95. Shavar Young, ATH, Brentwood Academy
– The 6-foot, 174-pound athlete is one of the state’s best all-around playmakers at wide receiver, cornerback, or on kickoff and punt returns. Young is a smooth route-runner with quick-twitch abilities that can burn defenders in space with his speed.
Young already has a pile of offers nearing 25 total with Georgia, Penn State, Tennessee, Arkansas, and South Carolina as early contenders.
