With a win in Philadelphia against the Phillies on Wednesday, the Atlanta Braves secured their sixth straight division crown.

Last year, they stole it from the New York Mets in the final few days of the regular season.

This year, however, they dominated the division almost from the start and secured the NL East in mid-September, with lots of games to spare.

According to MLB on FOX, no other team in MLB has more division titles than the Braves.

Since 1995, the Braves have won the NL East a record 18 times.

Before that point, they also won five NL West titles: yes, they were in the West for a significant period.

In total, they have 23 division titles.

Even though they “just” have four World Series trophies (1914, 1957, 1995 and 2021), the Braves have long been a competitive franchise that always look to contend except for a few notable (and brief) exceptions.

This time, they are determined to dominate the competition and win their second Fall Classic in the last three years.

With Ronald Acuna Jr. and Matt Olson both looking like MVP candidates and an amazing lineup that also includes Marcell Ozuna, Ozzie Albies, Austin Riley, Sean Murphy, Travis d’Arnaud, Orlando Arcia, Eddie Rosario, and Michael Harris II, among others, no offense in MLB is scarier than Atlanta’s.

Their pitching staff is also extremely competitive, and they have the tools to mount an impressive challenge for the title.

Things will get much tougher in the postseason, that’s for sure, but the Braves are looking like a juggernaut.
