The Washington Wizards moved on from the Bradley Beal era, also letting Kristaps Porzingis go.

But even if things look tough for them, they may have found a new franchise cornerstone in Jordan Poole.

The young guard was let go in a salary-dump move by the Golden State Warriors, and it seems like he wasn’t liked nor respected within the locker room.

It all started when Draymond Green punched him during practice after he allegedly crossed some line and got into multiple veterans’ faces, and it went downhill throughout the course of the season.

That’s why it was ironic to watch him get ready for the season by working on his boxing skills, with Jordan Jimenez sharing the clip (Via League Alerts) and countless fans cracking jokes about the situation.

Obviously, he’s not the first — or only — player who uses boxing to stay in shape, but it didn’t take long before he went viral.

Multiple reports from Warriors’ insiders cite that Green wasn’t the only player who had issues with Poole’s immaturity and attitude.

Even coach Steve Kerr was reportedly frustrated with the way he handled himself and how he refused to be held accountable after signing that big contract.

Attitude issues rarely translate into success in the NBA, at least in terms of success and accolades.

Poole will most likely average over 25 points per game on what might be the worst team in the league, and there’s a slim chance he even ends up making the playoffs.

At least he got a huge contract and won’t have to worry about money ever again in his career.
