The good news is that the Philadelphia Eagles remain undefeated after three games.

The bad news is that they are not playing exceptionally well.

But while they continue to win, ESPN NFL analyst Ryan Clark said that quarterback Jalen Hurts isn’t playing like he should be.

“I know Philly fans will want to kill me, but Jalen Hurts has been a bit off. He’s not playing awful, and still finding ways to make winning plays because well… He’s a winner, but his play is a ways off of the pace he set early last year. It’s not just statistical either,” Clark tweeted.

A quick read through the comments on his post shows football fans are trying to defend Hurts’ performance through three weeks, some of which Clark responded to.

However, Clark has a point, especially when you check out Hurts’ stats after three games.

He already has three interceptions against three touchdown passes.

Last year, he threw only six interceptions for the entire regular season.

Early in this season, it’s evident that something does appear to be ‘off’ with Hurts.

But the Eagles are still winning and that is what is most important to them.

Hurts still has plenty of time to turn the corner this year on his production.
