The trailer of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s upcoming film Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol, was released yesterday on November 23 and has created a sensation among the fans and cinephiles on social media.
The trailer, which is over three minutes long, showcases Ranbir Kapoor in a violent and obsessive avatar, as he seeks revenge from his father Anil Kapoor and his rival Bobby Deol. The film, which is slated to release on December 1, is expected to be a gritty and dark action thriller with a twisted father-son relationship at its core.
The over 3 minutes long trailer is filled with emotional, intense, and action moments which promise a blockbuster ride. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the Animal trailer is getting excellent response on YouTube and other social media platforms. On YT, it has crossed 50 million views in Hindi in 23 hours, becoming only the third trailer ever to cross 50 million views in the first 24 hours in Hindi.
The Hindi trailer of the film ended up as the third most-watched trailer ever in the first 24 hours, behind only Adipurush which scored 52.22 million views and Ranbir Kapoor’s Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar (50.96 million views) during the same period.
The overall views of the movie on YouTube have crossed 70 million (including dubbed versions). The trailer has also hit 910K likes in the Hindi version.
