There was a time when the Golden State Warriors were regarded as one of the most dominant teams in the NBA.

In fact, they even won the 2022 NBA Championship behind the efforts of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, and Andrew Wiggins.

While all four players are still present on the Dubs roster, apart from Curry, every player has seemingly regressed in the last two years or so.

Due to that, the Warriors have struggled to win games, as they currently have a terrible 8-10 record in the Western Conference.

Basketball Hall of Famer turned analyst Charles Barkley recently shared his honest thoughts on the Warriors, via Ball Don’t Lie on Twitter.

Barkley believes that Thompson and Green are simply no longer the players that they once were for the Warriors.

In addition, he didn’t forget about Wiggins, who is having the worst season of his NBA career.

Combining the poor performances from the three stars, Barkley is confident that the Warriors are no longer a championship contender in the Western Conference.

The Warriors most recently faced off against the Sacramento Kings in the NBA In-Season Tournament.

Despite playing at full strength, the Warriors fell to the Kings.

After the close loss, the Dubs have now fallen to the 10th spot in the conference.

Sure, they are still in contention for a spot in the Play-In Tournament, but that’s certainly way worse than where fans expected the team to be at this point in the regular season.
