The Atlanta Falcons have not been a good football team all year during the 2023 campaign, with the team having no identity or direction, even with a bonafide star in rookie running back Bijan Robinson coming out of the backfield.

It seems as though the Falcons have no idea what to do when they land generational talents like Robinson and tight end Kyle Pitts, as both players are being wasted in Atlanta right now and not used as intended.

On top of that, the team clearly made a mistake at the quarterback position by handing the keys over to Desmond Ridder, who hasn’t made any progress this season.

However, somehow, Atlanta was only one game below .500 coming into Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers, with the NFL playoffs still being a possibility via the NFC South division title.

That ship may have sailed after Sunday’s forgettable performance, with the Falcons losing to Bryce Young and company at Bank of America Stadium in one of the ugliest games of the day that was decided by a score of 9-7.

With this loss being the worst of the season, the Falcons fans have come out in force with their disgust directed at head coach Arthur Smith via Scott Carasik of Blogging Dirty.

Here are some fan reactions to the Falcons’ loss to the division-rival Panthers on the road, with Smith officially on the hot seat in Atlanta:

Some drastic changes need to be made in Atlanta in order to get this team back on the right track because this team seems like a rudderless ship moving forward.

Fortunately for the Falcons, a change at head coach and the quarterback position might be all that is needed to make this team a force to be reckoned with.
