In an intriguing flashback from Reacher season 2, the titular character takes his newly formed 110th MP Special Investigations Unit team out for a beer. When Neagley calls him “Sir,” he corrects her and asks her to call him Reacher like everyone else. Neagley tries to remind him that he is her senior, but he counters her by telling her that everyone is her senior because she is an enlisted Master Sergeant. This scene highlights how Neagley is among the youngest members of the team and also ranks below everyone else since she is not an officer.
