The Dallas Cowboys were the talk of the town heading into Week 15.

They had just blown out the Philadelphia Eagles, a potential sign that this team was on to great things, especially in the postseason.

While they can still beat any team that comes their way, the Cowboys’ loss to the Buffalo Bills this week put things into perspective.

After watching their Sunday Night Football performance, Deion Sanders sat down with Shannon Sharpe and Chad Ochocinco on their podcast, trying to light a fire under this team.

Sanders said, “I just want them to continue to be consistent. Don’t fool me, man, don’t tease me.”

Consistency is critical for any NFL roster.

If teams are not consistent every week, it can be challenging to close out the season, especially when looking ahead to the playoffs.

For a team with the Cowboys’ talent level on their roster, Sanders seemed confused about why they were struggling this way.

After beating the Seattle Seahawks and Eagles in back-to-back weeks, the Bills were viewed as an easier opponent for the Cowboys.

Their guard might have been down coming into this game, potentially contributing to this loss.

Ultimately, as Sanders points out, the reason for this loss doesn’t matter.

All that matters for this team moving forward is consistency.

If this is a minor blip in the road for the Cowboys, they should enter the playoffs with a lot of confidence.

However, if this is a growing trend, America’s team could be in big trouble as they enter the postseason.
