The Phoenix Suns have been one of the most active teams in the NBA when it comes to making trades over the last couple of years, with the team doing everything within its power to become a legitimate title contender in the Western Conference.

The first major move was to acquire superstar forward Kevin Durant in a blockbuster deal with the Brooklyn Nets that no one saw coming, which was thought to immediately tilt the scales in the team’s favor.

Although adding Durant into the fold was a massive step in the right direction for the Suns, Phoenix was far from done improving the roster, with the franchise bringing in veteran scorer Bradley Beal in a trade with the Washington Wizards.

Unfortunately, these bold moves to bring in proven stars to play alongside Devin Booker haven’t panned out thus far, as Phoenix is still a second-tier team in the West behind heavyweights like the Denver Nuggets, Minnesota Timberwolves, and Oklahoma City Thunder.

With the front office determined to make this team a legitimate title contender, the Suns won’t be quiet heading toward the NBA trade deadline, with Phoenix “very confident” it can bring in Miles Bridges in a trade, according to Gerald Bourguet of PHNX Sports via Evan Sidery of Forbes.

The Charlotte Hornets appear to be cleaning house ahead of the trade deadline on February 8, with Bridges being one of the notable names mentioned in trade rumors.

As Sidery points out, Bridges has a no-trade clause, which could make things challenging for Phoenix if he doesn’t want to be shipped to the Suns.
