A new image from Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire teases the return of Bill Murray and Paul Rudd, as well as an iced-over ghost containment unit. Serving as a sequel to 2021’s Ghostbusters: Afterlife, the upcoming film is directed by Gil Kenan. The upcoming film moves the action back to New York City, with new and old cast members alike assembled to take down a formidable new enemy and a phenomenon known as the “death chill”.
Now, ahead of Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire‘s 2024 release date, Empire has shared a new image from the movie, showing the best look yet at Murray’s Peter Venkman and Rudd’s Gary Grooberson, with both characters standing in front of the ghost containment unit at Ghostbusters headquarters.
